ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Electricity

Electricity is controlled by a slot meter and you will need a supply of £1 coins. As you walk into the flat, the meter is above your head on the left. Hot water heating is by immersion heater, which is normally switched on ready for your arrival - you have a choice to leave this on all the time or to put it on morning and evening. The night storage heater is free of charge and should be switched off if not required.

Kitchen

Crockery and cutlery is provided, as well as ample cooking utensils. There is a microwave oven, electric cooker and set in hob and a fridge. There is also a digital radio.

Linen

You will need to bring your own linen for a double bed and two single beds. Duvets and pillows are provided.

You will also need to bring you own bathroom towels, beach towels and tea towels.

TV & Video

There is a flat screen TV and integral DVD player in the flat. The TV has free-to-view digital channels. If you are travelling with children, it is useful to know in case you want to bring some DVD’s for an unexpected rainy day!

Information

There is an information pack in the flat, giving details about the flat and local areas of interest. There is also a box file full of leaflets that guests usually add to each season. If you haven’t been to the area before there is plenty to do: swimming, surfing, golf, boating, cycling, walking and much more. There is also Cornwall monopoly and lots of reading books.

Telephone

There is a telephone installed in the flat that will receive incoming calls only. The number is 01841 521877 should you wish to leave a contact number with family or friends.

It is unusual to get a mobile signal in the flat or on the beach. The nearest public telephone is opposite Constantine Bay Stores; you may also get a mobile signal from this area.
